AFLP® Analysis Systems enable the identification of DNA polymorphisms using selective primers, classical fingerprinting techniques, and PCR to amplify a subset of genomic restriction. Three different AFLP® Analysis Systems are available:• The AFLP® Analysis System I is designed for use with plants having genomes ranging in size from 5 x 108 to 6 x 109 bp, including tomato, corn, soybean, cucumber, lettuce, barley, cotton, oilseed rape, potato, sunflower, pepper, and brassica.• The AFLP® Analysis System II is designed for use with plants having genomes ranging in size from 1 x 108 to 5 x 108 bp, including Arabidopsis, rice, peach, and cucumber.• The AFLP® Analysis System for Microorganisms is designed for use with bacteria such as Agrobacterium, Xanthamonas, E. coli, and Pseudomonas, and fungi such as Collectotrichum, Pyricularia, and yeast.

The AFLP® Core Reagent Kit contains reagents for template preparation, including restriction enzymes, adapters, ligase and appropriate buffers. The AFLP® Primer Kit contains primers and other reagents required for AFLP® amplification reactions. The AFLP® Analysis System I contains the AFLP® Core Reagent Kit, the AFLP® Starter Primer Kit, and a manual. The AFLP® Analysis System II contains the AFLP® Core Reagent Kit, the AFLP® Small Genome Primer Kit, and a manual. The AFLP® Analysis System for Microorganisms contains the AFLP® Core Reagent Kit, the AFLP® Microorganism Primer Kit, and a manual. Store all AFLP® Analysis Systems at -20°C. Guaranteed stable for 6 months when properly stored.
