It is suitable for use in analysis of protein structure, studying protein-protein interactions, and cell biology research applications. It can also be used as an immunogen, or as a protein standard. This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain (Met 1-Asn 242) of human CD80 precursor (NP_005182.1) fused to a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.Activity: Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized human CD80-His at 1 µg/well can bind human CD28-Fc with a linear range of 0.8-4.0 µg/ml.Formulation: Lyophilized in PBS, pH 7.4, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, and 0.02% Tween 80.Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 0.2 mg/ml or lower. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted and be used as soon as possible. Store aliquots under sterile conditions at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
