It can also be used as a protein standard, or in other research applications.This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the human IFNB1 (NP_002167.1), residues 1 to 187, fused to the Fc region of human IgG1 at the C-terminus.Activity: Measured in antiviral assays using WISH human amnion cells infected with vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV). The ED₅₀ for this effect is 0.5-2 ng/ml.Formulation: Lyophilized in PBS, pH 7.4, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, and 0.02% Tween 80.Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 0.2 mg/ml or lower.
