The cells can be released from the beads using the DETACHaBEAD® reagent to obtain bead-and antibody-free cells. • Rapid isolation of CD4⁺ T cells from any sample – no columns required • Bead- and antibody-free positively isolation of CD4⁺ cells for any downstream assays Excellent Yield, Purity, and Viability of Recovered Cells The Dynabeads® CD4 Positive Isolation Kit contains uniform, superparamagnetic beads (4.5 &micron;m diameter) that enable easy isolation of human CD4⁺ cells directly from any sample, as well as a DETACHaBEAD® reagent that can be used subsequently to separate beads from purified cells. Dynabeads® are mixed with the sample in a tube where they bind to the target cells during a short incubation, after which the bead-bound cells are separated from unbound cells using a magnet. The positively isolated cells are then washed, and DETACHaBEAD® reagent is added to gently release the cells from the beads. This is the only magnetic bead-based positive isolation method that gives both bead- and antibody-free cells. The isolated CD4⁺ cells are phenotypically unaltered and suitable for any downstream application. This fast and gentle isolation method does not require the use of columns, and help ensure high purity and viability of the isolated CD4⁺ cells.
