In general, recombinant proteins are suitable for use in studying protein-protein interactions, as a protein standard, or in cell biology research applications. Since this product is a truncated protein and does not contain intracellular catalytic activity domain, it is not suitable for use in enzyme activity studies.This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain (Met 1-Thr 653) of the mouse ERBB2 (P70424) fused to the Fc region of human IgG1 at the C-terminus.Activity: 1. Measured by its ability to bind human MUC1 in a functional ELISA.2. Measured by its ability to bind human CTNNB1 in a functional ELISA.Formulation: Lyophilized in 140 mM NaCl, 2.7 mM KCl, 10 mM Na₂HPO₄, 1.8 mM KH₂PO₄, pH7.4, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, 0.02% Tween-80.Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 0.2 mg/ml or lower. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted and be used as soon as possible. Store aliquots under sterile conditions at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
