EPS8 uses its SH3 domain to complex with Abi1 and SOS1, leading to Rac activation and subsequent actin cytoskeletal remodeling. In the same manner, it binds with RN-tre to inhibit the internalization of EGFR. EPS8 also works with Arp3 to modulate actin dynamics within the seminiferous epithelium at the apical ES and the BTB.
