R-PE-conjugated antibody buffered in 10 mM PBS (pH 7.2) with 500 mM NaCl, 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide and 0.2% (w/v) BSA.

Usage

This reagent is effective for direct immunofluorescence staining of human tissue for flow cytometric analysis using 20ml/106 cells. Since applications vary, however, each investigator should titrate the reagent to obtain optimal results.

Preparation and Storage

Preparation: The antibody is purified from tissue culture supernatant by Protein G affinity chromatography and is conjugated with R-PE under optimum conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated antibody.Storage: Store conjugate at 4° C and avoid prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze.

Caution

Sodium azide yields highly toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in plumbing.
