Preparation and Storage

Preparation: The polyclonal antibody was purified from goat antiserum by rabbit immunoglobulin affinity chromatography. The antibody solution was subsequently passed through solid-phase immunoadsorbent gels to minimize cross-reactivity with human, mouse, and rat Igs. The antibody was conjugated with biotin under optimum conditions.Storage: The conjugate should be stored undiluted at 4°C.

Caution

Sodium azide yields highly toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in plumbing.
